Highlights from Lazada’s 11.11 Mega Campaign
Lazada recently wrapped up its biggest sale of the year, which offered the best deals and discounts to great reception. Within the first hour of the 11.11 mega campaign, the platform saw a 63-time uplift in sales across Southeast Asia. Lazada’s gamification push also continued to resonate with consumers. Its in-app game Merge Boss registered a four-fold increase in players compared with regular days. Players across the region also collected 136 billion “golden tickets,” which could be exchanged for daily gift bags containing discounts, special offers and other benefits.

Lazada Partnership Promotes Safer Environment for Direct Selling
Lazada Group signed a memorandum of understanding with the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia last month in a collaborative effort to create and maintain a safe and trusted online shopping environment for direct-sales products. Through this partnership, only registered and authorized distributors will be able to list direct-sales products on Lazada Malaysia, thus ensuring the quality and authenticity of goods on the eCommerce platform while also adding value to the domestic economy.

Young Talents Join Lazada’s Creative Catalyst Program

Lazada Indonesia partnered with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs and digital consulting services provider Selaksa to kick off its Creative Catalyst Program in Jakarta on 28 October. The two-day program invited participants between the ages of 18 and 35 to share ideas and explore fundraising opportunities related to the creative economy sector.
