Lazada Philippines Executives Discuss AI Innovations and Female Empowerment
During the PRO FUTURE: AI for Life Summit hosted by The Philippine Star on October 11, Lazada Philippines Head of User Product Operations Pauline Castro shared how the company uses generative AI to curate shopping experiences. Castro highlighted LazzieChat’s real-time assistance as well as Lazada’s other AI-powered features, including fashion and beauty catalogs, augmented reality integration and personalized deals and vouchers. Later, at the Rappler Social Good Summit on October 19, Lazada Philippines Commercial Director Joey Bienvenida emphasized Lazada’s initiatives to encourage more women entrepreneurs to participate in the digital economy.
