Lazada recently kicked off the year-end shopping season with its 9.9 Mega Brands Sale featuring well-known and beloved brands on LazMall across all six markets. Lazada also continued to push its gamification strategy, with users spending the equivalent of over 310 years playing Lazada games, completing 19 million rounds and collecting a whopping 755 million tokens that can be converted into discounts for selected products.
Watches and Wonders Launches Inaugural Regional LazMall Super Brand Day
The world’s largest luxury watch trade show, Watches and Wonders, returned to Shanghai on September 13 to 17. More than 12,000 visitors were invited to browse the latest collections and timepieces from 14 exhibiting watch brands, including Panerai and IWC Schaffhausen. The event also hosted workshops, talks and more. For the first time, Watches and Wonders curated selected timepieces on its official LazMall flagship stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to coincide with the event, enabling watch enthusiasts in Southeast Asia to enjoy an immersive experience and shop for exceptional timepieces exclusively through Lazada. TÜV SÜD and Lazada Singapore Partner Up to Advocate Cybersecurity
Lazada Singapore recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TÜV SÜD to advocate the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore’s Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust marks as standard frameworks for Lazada’s key partners. The partnership aims to bolster the cybersecurity maturity of the eCommerce ecosystem. It follows Lazada’s achievement of being the first and only eCommerce platform in Singapore to achieve the Cyber Trust (Advocate) certification mark from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. As an independent certification body, TÜV SÜD will support Lazada in its efforts to raise awareness among its key partners about the importance of implementing cybersecurity practices to achieve the certification.

Lazada hosted the fourth edition of its annual marquee event, LazMall Brands Future Forum (BFF), at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore on August 31.
