Lululemon has officially launched its LazMall flagship store to serve more consumers across Southeast Asia. With this launch, Lazada becomes Lululemon’s first eCommerce partner in Asia and will offer more brand interactions and product innovations that deepen the athleisure brand’s connections with consumer across both physical and digital channels.
Lazada and Eiger Adventure Roll Out Sustainable Packaging in Indonesia
Lazada Indonesia has joined forces with outdoor activities products brand Eiger Adventure to adopt new and sustainable packaging material. Consumers who purchase Eiger Adventure products on Lazada will receive their orders in cardboard packaging that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. In addition, all plastic-based bubble wrap will be replaced with honeycomb paper wrap made from recycled cardboard. A QR code, which contains Eiger Adventure and Lazada’s ESG Impact report, will also be included on the packaging. At the launch event, Eiger Adventure also introduced its Eiger Green Project, which features upcycled products that will be available exclusively on Lazada. This partnership will enable both companies to tackle waste issues and become more sustainable in their business operations.
Lazada Singapore Partners With SingPost
Lazada Singapore recently announced a long-term partnership with Singapore Post to offer more convenient sustainable eCommerce delivery options. This partnership enables Lazada to leverage the postal services company’s logistics infrastructure, including its POPStations, delivery vehicles and newly announced POPDrop boxes. POPDrop boxes and POPStationa are more carbon efficient options compared to doorstep collection, as delivery staff are able to deliver and retrieve parcels at a single point. The partnership will also increasingly leverage electric vans to further reduce carbon emissions.
